This is the ideal campervan for 2 or 3 people travelling NZ. It’s a former “Tui Camper”- Rental van with only one previous owner. The engine (manual, petrol, no oil leaks) ran 303.000 km so far and drives well.
This is not a typically shabby backpacker van, it’s in excellent condition and comes with 8-mth-old tyres and a new WOF. It has an air condition and aux-in-connection. Everything is working and it was always a non-smoking vehicle.
We provide a full service history of the van with all mechanic checks & repairs of the last years. The car was regularly maintained every 15.000 km.
Through the high-top even tall people can stand & cook comfortably in it. The kitchen comes with a fridge, which makes you independent to camp even in the wildest places.
Kitchen:
sink with tab
fridge
2 cooking plates & grill
toaster & water boiler
crockery, cutlery, pots & pans, storage boxes
The van has much storage space under benches & overhead.
Over an extra battery, which reloads while driving, you can run the fridge and the 2 interior lights for 2 days without driving. Inside there are 2 sockets to charge your laptop etc.
The big table between the 2 benches folds down to a king-size bed, which comes with blanket, linen and pillows. There is even the possibility of an extra Bed in the High Top.
Outside there is a second table with 2 camping chairs, power connection & water tank (50 litr.)
We lived now 8 month in this van & were happy to have it.
We first considered buying a smaller van (like Toyota Lucida), but it was definitely worth the extra money. Much more comfortable to live in, cook, stand & chill out especially on bad weather.
The only problems we had with this car, were a broken brake light and a flat tyre. We sell it, because we are leaving NZ. This car will be a fantastic companion, while exploring the country.
So don’t hesitate to phone (English, German), mail or text us. We love to show you the van in Auckland.
